Villa Pia/L'Elzet with not so young children?

We are going on a family holiday abroad, our first with all the children. We have previously holidayed in UK or had day trips, but this one will be a treat holiday after various significant birtdays.

We tend to prefer self catering rather than a hotel, and like the look of Villa Pia and L'Elzet, mentioned here on various threads.

Our children will be 8,6 and 4 - we wondered if this would be too old for the venues.

Would be grateful for your thoughts, or recommendations of similar places.

TIA

Villa Pia is wonderful and fine for those ages (8 year old will be one of the oldest though) but its not self catering....

Yes. The set up sounds good though, a happy mix between catered and able to get your own drinks and snacks, and it came across as quite easy. Is that right?
