feeling bamboozled by the amount of info on the net, MN please help me find a hotel in crete or this summer

trip advisor seems to suggest an old mn fave of santorini has plummeted in physical hygeine and stuff so going to avoid that.

any other thoughts? happy to spend about £1,000 pp for 10 days

I would have recommended the hotel we stayed in last year, but they have change it to adults only now.
