Where to go for Easter hols with kids 6 and 2

Any ideas? First thought was Egypt for sun, but kids clubs don't start until 7 April and we want to go 27 March. Budget if abroad about £4k all in for 10 days. Don't need kids club if we do an active type holiday but we do if we do a sun and swim type as otherwise the boys get bored.

The kids clubs at FC holiday village red sea start on 1st April so that might work, or else look for a hotel that offers a kids club all year round.

We have been the holiday village red sea twice but this half term we are trying the Akassia Club Calimera in Marsa Alam (through first choice). It has its own water park, wave pool, lazy river, plus a hotel kids club and kids entertainment. Hope it is as good as it looks.

I thought it was 1st April, which would be OK, but I phoned up first choice and they said they don't start until the first Monday in April (6th) which makes a big difference if we are leaving on 7th! Do you have contradictory info? Perhaps I should phone them again?

The Club Calimera looks fab, but the kids club is from 3 years up, and the Wed - Wed departure doesn't work with our school holidays, unfortunately, but definitely one to bear in mind for next year, thanks so much.

How old are the children, it doesn't say in your op but you mention kids club needs to befor under 4s?

Have you looked at canaries or sensatori, check quo vadis or baby bolt holes for crèche for the under 4

Sovereign families and tots too are also good

Kids are 6 and 2. Went to sensatori last year - think the creche runs all year but the kids club is still Thomson run so won't start early enough.

Decided on Duinrell for Easter, and maybe next year we could go somewhere hotter!
