Hi there, we are thinking of visiting Moraira for our summer holiday this year. If anyone has been, please could you let me know what you thought of it please? We will hopefully hire a villa with a pool and will hire a car to visit beaches etc, but was wondering whether there is anything to amuse the kids (aged 9 and 6) in the evenings? Any live music etc early-ish evening...or other things in the town? We like to have a relaxed drink after dinner when we're on hols and just wondered if there would be anything to amuse the kids while we did that! Many thanks for your help and information.

It's a nice place to visit - beach is nice and there's a marina to walk around. Denia close by is a bit bigger and has a castle you can walk around. Javea has a nice old part to the town and the arenal which is a promenade - I think you can hire things to ride up and down. They have one of those inflatable things in the sea and you can hire pedalos. If you want to go a bit further afield Calpe has a big rocky outcrop you can climb - I've never done it in summer though! There are some pretty caves in the hills back fr the coast. Valencia is nice - we get the train up there from one of the towns towards the end of the track.
