All inclusive just me and my daughter but where?

Im looking at booking a week away next May for just myself and my adult daughter. She has had a bit of a tough year and I want to treat her to a lovely holiday as she derserves it.
So it's just me and her and our plan is a week of pool, beach, food and drink, reading, relaxing and lots of catching up properly. On our wish list is, must be on a sandy beach, decent food and drinks, a nice pool, maybe near some local shops and bars to meander around, maybe near a little port? Not worried about sightseeing but def no english bars or over run with kiddies clubs. Looking to go mid May but not tied to any dates. Budget around £500 but could go up for somewhere special.

So any ideas, recommendations greatly appreciated.

I have been looking at Marrakesh at the moment, they seem to have the most wonderful accomodation (with spa's), and some of the bigger hotels with big grounds and swimming pools.

I know this does not include a beach, but it could include sunning around a lovely swimming pool and then taking in food and other highlights in Marrakesh when needed.

Thanks, but need to be near a beach as daughter has allergies to certain chlorides used in pools, so just in case can't use the pool at least she's ok with the sea.
Going crossed eyed looking on trip adviser. Quite fancy Greece somewhere, where is warmer in May?

for more chance of good weather in Greece, go south - Crete.

do you really want all-inclusive? This is the place where people with kids go because it is easier for them. You should certainly avoid half-term.

there are lovely resorts on Crete - and there are also shrieking kiddy-drunk ones (e.g. Malia) so choose carefully! Perhaps get a rough guide for some ideas?

Was also going to suggest Crete.

Have you had a look at Rethymnon or Chania?

Kavros is lovely.
