Neilson - Portomyrina Palace or Messini?

Am trying to choose between these two for summer 2015 - does anyone have any experience of either?

Been to the P Palace in Lemnos. Great place with lovely harbour village nearby. Beach isn't very nice, gritty,with seaweed,, and has a view of a power station at one end. Having said that none of the neilsons beaches are up to much. We had a wonderful holiday thee and would return to that or any other neilsons resorts. Been to teos and ortakent too.

Not been to messini - portomyrina is nice property with nice village down a long hill (taxi or hot walk back up!)

Depends on what you want to do there. If you aren't into sailing/windsuring then you may find too windy in the afternoon for water skiing/wakeboarding. Been to Sivota and Adakoy too.
