Sri Lanka - what injections do I need? Do I need malaria tablets?

I am just checking out what is necessary for Sri Lanka. The information I have seen seems very contradictory - are malaria tablets needed? What innoculations are needed? Thanks

don't think it needs more than what you should have anyway: polio, typhoid (check status), tetanus (Ditto), MMR, diphtheria, hep A.

dengue zone as tropical so cover up and plenty of DEET day and night.
obviously no deliberate sunbathing due to latitude.

malarial outside the big cities.
