Ideas for honeymoon

Getting married in the summer and have a child free week to have our honeymoon mid August. As we only have a week, am thinking Europe. We don't want to hire a car, and we both like walking. I don't want it too hot (so Southern Spain is out).... Want somewhere with lovely food... Any recommendations for a lovely location

We went to New York for a week for our honeymoon.

Or, San Remo in Italy? Barcelona? Croatia? Lake Garda?

The French Alps are good for walking in the summer. Somewhere like Morzine?

We loved Corsica; amazing scenery and fantastic food. We went with the DC and had a fantastic time but we've always said we'd go back for a couples holiday one day.

Where in Croatia did you go? Did you go in the summer?

The Plitvice lakes in Croatia are beautiful so I'd recommend going there but you only need a day and I'm not sure how easy it is to get to without a car.
