Are coaches and minibuses exempt from the new car seat law?

I am assuming so.

DD is off on her first school trip on Friday. It is ot a walk away so I am assuming they'll be going on a coach or minibus.

No mention of boosters, so I am assuming they are exempt yes?

Yes they are. So are taxis

Our newer school minibus has some seats designed for the smaller ones and 3 point adjustable belts on the others. Believe they don't legally need boosters though.
