Where's the concert? At the Arena? or in town?
Will you have car or not?

hulababy · 16/10/2006 22:46

OK, found it - Arena. That is out of town, but close to a tram stop that will take you direct into town - or a short drive if in car.

The Sheffield Ibis in town has rooms (for 2) available for £48 per room per night, with breakfast charged at £5.25

The Garrison is a bit further away, as it is out of town a little again but different direction. I don't know anything about it I'm afraid. Looks more upmarlet than an Ibis!

One to avoid - The Grosvenor in town.

Hotel Bristol = £55 per room per night

Cheap and near the arena is Premier Travel Inn . Says it is from £25 per room per night.

Thanks hula!!

I have booked Hotel Bristol.

Are the trams easy to negotiate to get into town for shopping?

Very easy!

There is a tram that goes direct from town to the Arena - takes about 15 minutes.

Hotel Bristol is only a short walk into the town centre. If you know what shops you fancy, I'll let you kknow where they are!
