Yes, we went by cruise from Seattle to Vancouver, Oceania Regatta.
Had a great time, some lovely experiences, watching glaciers, helicopter ride, whale & nature watching. Was fab.

Yes, we did the cruise up to Alaska and then made our own way overland back to vancouver.

Was great fun and amazing. We went 10 years ago, 4 girls but we were the youngest on the cruise by about 30 years!

Yes, did a 3 week road trip in an RV in 2013. Going back again this summer - CANNOT wait.

I would do a mix of RV and cruise. There are smaller ships than the giant ones that most people go on. Expensive though . We loved Akaska but it can feel very 'packaged ' but the sights out on the water are super. So many whales! We also saw lots of bears and salmon running up the streams to spawn . Go at the end of August if you want to see all of this and choose your accommodation carefully to get the most out of your visit if you don't want an RV.
