Child will just have turned 3 when we go to Disneyland Paris, planning to say she is 2?

Hi I am taking my daughter to Disneyland four days after her 3rd birthday. Children are free under 3. Has any one been recently and do you know if they are likely to require ID? We are not staying in the Disney park hotel. Saying she is under 3 will mean the difference of about £120. Thanks in advance.

will the hotel ask for passports to be handed in? if not who is going to tell. if booked as a package they will know from the age on the flight info.

I could never rely on my children for this kind of thing. Apart from when ds went through a phase of telling everyone he was 49, they've always shouted their actual age from the rooftops and no way would they pretend to be a babyish 2 when they were a big grown up 3.

Are there rides that she needs to be 3 to go on though?

We went when DS was two (but he's v big for his age!) and didn't get asked his age at all. All the rides are based on height, so she'll still be able to go on all the same stuff.

All your doing is buying park tickets, right? Just say she is 2. It will never come up again once you are in the park. I am sure this is often done when birthdays are so close. I doubt they worry much to be honest.

Thanks all I think we will risk it and if there's an issue we can always pay then. If she needed a pass to get on certain rides it would be different but if not we will just see what happens! x
