We are honeymooning in Las Vegas for three days following that We have an opportunity to spend 4 days in March in one of the above locations and are finding it very difficult to decide between the three, any advice gratefully received, thank you Smile

I would pick SF simply because it is far closer than the other two cities mentioned.

Thanks. Attila, yes you're right but if we go further south we're hoping it might be warm enough for the beach and possibly a bit more relaxing than sf after a couple of days in Vegas?

Naples might seem quite tame after Vegas! It's lovely but unless you hire a car (is that something you're willing to do?) it's hard to get around as it's very sprawling and the centre isn't much - you really need to be able to get to some of the other smaller outlying shopping/restaurant areas and other beaches. I would go for SF or Miami as both have a lot of character, you won't need a car if you choose your hotel wisely, and there's stuff to entertain you if the weather's not great.

It really depends what you are looking for - I love South Beach as it's like nowhere else, and it has a great, relaxed vibe - really does feel like the end of the USA/gateway to the Caribbean/Cuba etc, whereas SF is similar in lots of ways to other US cities but it is very pretty (and hilly!).

Congratulations on the wedding!

Out of Naples and Miami, I would choose Miami for the same reasons as llamas has cited. South Beach would be a good choice for you as newly weds and the Lincoln Road area on South Beach has some good restaurants as well.

(Bear in mind that US internal flights are not as reasonably priced as they once were and many carriers do charge for each piece of hold baggage).

We were in Miami South Beach in December and it was incredibly warm - and beautiful. Just gorgeous. I would go there and it would be rather different to Vegas.

Naples is like paradise :)

SF is an amazing city though, with lots to do.
Very jealous of Vegas.....I love it there.
