We stayed in the Aztec, the difference I think is in the themed room decor, they share facilities and everything if memory serves.

See if you can get a room facing the animal reserve though, it was amazing waking up and watching giraffes feeding (albeit from a fair distance!).

Can I asked about the Theme Park itself would there be enough for a 10 yr old?

I would say a ten year old would be able to go on pretty much everything tbh, if you have a good poke around on the website it gives you a breakdown of which rides are suitable for which heights.

The only problem is the queue times, if you can afford a merlin pass I'd get one, especially if it's going to be a busy bank holiday.

Hi
Aztec is newer. There ought to be plenty of reviews and photos for both on that well-known hotel booking and trip-review site. I wouldn't rule out "normal" hotels nearby; I suspect the on-site hotels would be full of younger families if it is anything like Legoland.

There ought to be plenty to amuse a 10 year old (there are a couple of rides that need you to be 1.4m; most are for kids 1.20m and above).
