Does anyone know anything about the Le Conquet / Ploudalmezeau / Plouarzel area of Brittany?

We're looking at holidays cottages in Brittany and somewhere fairly close to a ferry port and close to the beach. I've found a few in these areas, they're v close to the beach and not too long a drive from Roscoff. But I know nothing about the area.

Has anyone been? What are the beaches like? Are the any nice little towns there to visit?

I've just realised I think it's called the northern Finistere region.
