Orlando theme park advice

We are travelling to orlando in march. We have two children 3 and a few months. We are staying on international drive for the first week. We would like to visit disney with our son and also go to a toddler friendly waterpark but also want to chill in the hotel. So we are not keen to invest in the 7 day disney pass, which will set us back£900.

Can we buy a day ticket for Disney and how much are they? Then what other parks/attractions would you recommend for us that are not too expensive. Thought one day at disney, one at waterpark, one at another theme park and rest of the time by the pool or mini golf, meals out etc. Thanks!

I would highly recommended this allears.net site for information about the Disney parks. The prices change according to season, day tickets are available but they price it so that day tickets work out much more than multi day per visit.

All the waterparks have areas for your 3 year old.

Just buy direct from disney - the UK site assumes you want 7 days but call them or look at the U.S. site and you can buy any configuration.

Single day tickets tend to be nearly $100 per person per park. Multiday tickets reduce the price per day--the more days you tack on, the more you save (For example, a 5 day ticket would work out to about $60 per day.)

Multipark options tack on an additional $60 per ticket.

before you go check which rides your 3 yr old can go on because many have height/age restrictions and it saves a lot of hassle if you know in advance what they can/cannot go on. there is a book called WDW with kids and we found it invaluable. don't forget the evening parades and fireworks.

Gatorland is not expensive.

The waterparks are all very big, they all have toddler pools with slides. They wouldn't have much else you could all go on but they have beaches where an adult could play with the kids, whilst the other went and did other attractions.

Single day tickets are really expensive, and water parks cost almost as much as theme parks. In your shoes I would buy a 4 or 7 day disney access everything pass and then the mini golf, waterparks would be included. Disney tickets are cheaper bought here than on the gate. Then if your kids are having an off day on the day you go to the park, it wouldn't matter, you can go another day, or you could go for two mornings which might suit nap times. I can't see paying for a day pass, a waterpark, mini golf being that much cheaper.
