As long as you don't nick our dates Grin check out owners direct and search Aldeburgh in Suffolk. It's a beach house and looks lovely. Can't remember the name...will look now. There was also a nice looking place near Bury St Edmund on there, and we stayed in a lovely converted barn in Suffolk last year which is on baby friendly boltholes website, it was called the dairy hall and there're a few places in one site.

Finally, I highly recommend an old pub called the jolly Dutchman in Derbyshire. Great location and fantastic property. might only have been 5 bedrooms but I think they were adding another downstairs.

www.babyfriendlyboltholes.co.uk/child-friendly-accommodation/partridge_lodge__the_dairy_hall-26435/ dairy hall place. Great property with brilliant garden for kids and good location for exploring lots of pubs we were two couples and four kids but could possibly fit more in depending on ages - or get two properties on that site, they're very close together.

For my hen weekend about twenty of us stayed across two massive but lovely Victorian houses in Hunstanton. Might be worth a google!

This place overlooking Barmouth was quite fun.

This place in the middle of nowhere was beautiful, although there wasn't that much to do.

This place was absolutely wonderful www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g186367-d2122107-r201963865-The_Manor_House-Ludlow_Shropshire_England.html#REVIEWS
The master bedroom & bathroom were bigger than our whole ground floor and they have a golf course in the grounds, and chickens.

there are a couple of good websites. groupaccommodation.com and bigholidayhouse.com both have either individual places sleeping 8 or more or collections of cottages where you can all stay together but have your own space as well. Just avoid school holidays if at all possible. not sure how far you want to travel but we stay HERE often and it has a great set up for families. what time of year do you want to go?

Celtic Haven just outside Tenby has one which we stayed in last Aug. Lots of bathrooms too and a dining table that properly seats 12. Free use of swimming pool & tennis courts. Would go again.

This might be too remote - many people forget the Outer Hebrides are actually in the uk!! - but Gearrannan Blackhouse Village is awesome!

(Used to live close to here - sadly my own house which is rented out is too small!!)
