Summerlee Heritage Park, Coatbridge, Scotland

If you find yourself in or around the Central Scotland area, this is an excellent place to visit with the family. Entry to the park is FREE and it has lots to offer (ps small charge for some activities), lots more info can be found at Monklands Leisure , just click on Summerlee on the table of contents.
We were in Scotland over the Easter and visited the park on Easter Sunday (although it was a 'special events' day with lots of additional activities available, there are still plenty of things to do on a normal day). A great afternoon out was enjoyed by the children, hubby and me plus gran.
