Holiday to France in summer hols or uk for 4 budget £1500

Does anybody have any suggestions for our holiday for 4 . We are looking to either to go to France or somewhere in UK . It has to be around £1500 and we are looking to for for 10 days.
There will be my husband , myself a 7 year old and a 15 year old.

I would love any suggestions ??

Scottish Isles, Mull is gorgeous and there's a place called Isle of Mull Cheese where you can stay, just above Tobermory.

They have self catering and a pool.
