Premier Inn South Kensington is nice, clean& friendly but it is right over the rail line & you hear the rumble of trains.

That's pretty cheap for London. Do the dates fall in the school holidays?

When we stayed there it was for the theatre & we tubed in & out. It's pretty easy to get the tubes after concerns/theatre so perhaps have a look at other Premiers too.

Avoid a place called Cromwell Crown at all costs!!!

ah yes its the last Frid of the Easter holidays, just looked up the term dates and they are off three weeks!!! That's a long holiday isnt it? So that's why I cant find a bargain!

there are serviced apartments on Avonmore Road, W14 which is a straight line on a few different busses from outside the Albert Hall. If there's nothing on at Olympia then, should be very reasonable. Ditto the hotels on Holland Road W14 (ask for rooms high up / at the back) which is the same bus stop

Thanks Tranmere will have a look!

The schools are mostly only off two weeks but different areas have different weeks. I live on the border of two counties, ds is in primary in one county & breaks up/gues back a week later than dd in secondary in the ajoining county!

We always have premier breakfasts when we are with the kids as theirs is free but if you are all adults there are loads of cafes serving breakfasts around the area.

What about trying Imperial College for student rooms?

Booked last year for my son who was attending a course at RCM nearby. Au pair chaperoned him so I booked them a holiday apartment for three days. I just googled what I was looking for. You can get a fair idea of quality by cross referencing on TripAdvisor. Good luck!
