longshot - but hiking/walking in february holiday ideas

early feb, 2 adults, one week.
ideas for good locations? warmish if possible, and a base of a good sort of non purpose built tourist town. any ideas in spain maybe?

Italian coast, Malta, Canaries. Try looking at Inntravel for ideas as to where might be suitable.

My first thought was the stunning Cinque Terre but it wouldn't be warm.

Headwater also specialise in walking holidays. Might be worth a look.

there's some great hiking on Tenerife and La Gomera. Google 'tenerife hiking' for some ideas and books.

Booked andalucia in the end

another time try this one, really pretty village, nice people, fab walking, about an hour from alicante www.casacarrascal.com/

We love hiking and Tenerife was definitely an option and would try another time. Loving the idea of andalucia having quickly for me booked it! We fly to malaga, a night in Granada then up to cazorla for 6 nights and back to nerga 2 nights then home.
Anyone suggest walking books for area?
