warm hot long weekend in jan?

Hi all, can any recommend a good destination to go to without the kids in January where it is warm/hot and can do it over a long weekend? Dh and I need to have a break, we've been v stressed and just need to get away somewhere to recharge.

Watching with interest, we need a break too.

Canaries or Marrakech?

Marrakech, sound interesting. Anyone know what the foods like, dh likes plain stuff. Also what is there to do?

Canaries without a doubt.

Just 4.5 hours and you are in same time zone ...so no jet lag.

Temps are usually lovely but don't expect red hot.

If you choose Tenerife, don go to north of the island go to Los cris or las Americas.

The north gets cloudy rainy weather especially in winter

Tenerife or Dubai. Dubai on the palm is lovely at this time of year as warm but cool enough to go outside and see things.
