Australia - best time to travel there from the uk

Help me decide please

Either march/April for 3-4 weeks
Or sometime during our summer' so july/August - possibly for 4-5 weeks

I should add - perth and sydney - stop over at Singapore one way and something else on way bavk

march and April for those places.

Sydney can be surprisingly wet in March/April. July and August can be drier but it's not that warm.

July/Aug is their winter…march/april will be nicer weather.

I would go with March/April too. Warmer. Not necessarily wet in Sydney/Perth. Summer traditionally is wettest, and that time of year is going into autumn. nights can be quite cool in July and August and homes and hotels aren't geared up with central heating like it is in the UK, so you may feel cold in the evening and at night. Very jealous!
