Hotel in York - HELP

I went to York for a meeting a couple of months ago and as I was meandering back to the train station via the shops(!) I walked passed a nice looking hotel and made a mental note of the name in case I ever visited York again. Well, DH and I are thinking of taking a weekend break in York for our wedding anniversary next month but GUESS WHAT! Yep, I can't remember the name of the hotel. I think it was on Low Petergate or High Petergate. It was in a long terraced building that fronted right onto the street, part red brick, part white paint with a bar and restaurant on the ground floor. . Any York mums out there who know the place I'm on about? My description is lousy I know but all ideas welcome. Alternatively, if you can recommend a romantic city centre hotel that would be lovely. TIA. Lazy. xx
