Any travel agents, miles experts out there?
So in our family (me, DH and 2 DCs) we have quite a few miles on American Airlines. Added together they would be enough for us all to take a transatlantic flight next year. However we want to book travel under one booking thus hopefully making sure we all get seats on the same flight and ones that are together rather than each book separately and anyway DH has the bulk of them. Individually the kids and I don't have enough for a flight.
They don't have a household miles account like BA (one of the few good things about BA and their miles) and it costs quite a bit to give miles to someone else to the point where it doesn't seem worth it.
What is the best strategy to use when booking to make use of our miles across each account?
