Just some advice to avoid booking through Teletext.
Booked holiday today, gave them all passport details, card details etc payment was taken straightaway. I confirmed the price with them repeatedly even the guy was laughing at me saying "don't worry ma'am yes it's that price." As soon as I put phone down they ring back to tell me that price has now gone up £109 pp (x6) people. "But I've paid at the price you confirmed". "Yes but ma'am prices do go up". "Yes but if they go up after I've paid I shouldn't be expected to pay the new price as my payment had gone through". Over an hour on the phone, spoke to two different supervisors, all insistent that I should pay the price increase. I ended up cancelling and fingers crossed they actually refund me quickly.
Spoke to a frown who said they did this same trick to her at easter. A quick google search suggests that this is just one of their scams. So please save your time and don't bother with Teletext. Am off to a high street travel agent, might cost more but I won't get this headache!
