Stockholm with a toddler?

Any advice on what to do in Stockholm with an almost-three year old?

And any idea how cold it will be in early November? Do we need to invest in proper thermal gear and snow suits for us all?!

We went in summer, and with a younger toddler, so most of my advice would be irrelevant but I really recommend the Vasa museum - the first sight of the ship will take your breath away.
