Next year we will be going to Florida.

DS1 will be 18 and has always been very into all things Science.

DS2 and DD will be 8 and 6. Is it worth taking them or should I just leave it,to DH and DS1 and have a day by the pool?

my 3 loved it. we have been twice now each time first in and first out. there are quite a lot of interactive things to do talks from astraunauts and films.

We went this year with a 4yo and a 6yo, it was worth it for both, but the 6yo particularly loved it. They really loved all the films, the shuttle exhibition, and stayed quiet in the astronaut talk (and got photos afterwards!). So yes, worth it. Probably my favourite day of the holiday.

Everything else was amazing, but the Angry Birds bit is rubbish. So don't sell the trip on that feature, it's a big disappointment!

aayla that's exactly what I was going to do!

It seems to be the only thing specifically aimed at little ones.

The idea of meeting a real, live astronaut is pretty awesome!

I think you should all go.

The Lunch with an Astronaut is a great thing to do (and the buffet food served is delicious) but you need to reserve it in advance via the Kennedy Space Center website.

I took my son aged 6 and I was surprised that he didn't seem that interested. He was not at all interested in having his photo with the astronaut although I forced him into it.
