Rome in the rain

We're going to Rome for 5 nights next week (DH, 2 DC 9 and 11 and me). I've written down lots of great suggestions from other threads about what to do but they all seem to be pretty much open air, outdoor things and the long term forecast for Rome next week is for rain most days. Any top tips on how to enjoy Rome in the rain? (other than bring a rain coat and brolly!)

St Peters's Basilica, Vatican museums and The Sistine Chapel are a rainy day options.

The weather looks good on the BBC website for next week! The Pantheon is meant to be good in the rain when it comes in through the oculus.

Yay! Have just checked long range forecast again after seeing VJG's post and rain clouds now gone. Thanks for your answers. Will still take train coats just in case.

can't remember its name, but google will find it for you: the chapel full of skeletons is obviously rainproof - and a huge hit with dcs in any weather. Enjoy!

This is a good museum - models of Da Vinci's inventions -
