O/night stops between Roscoff and Crozon Peninsula?

We are going to a campsite near Crozon (W Brittany) in late July, landing Roscoff on a Friday night. Any suggestions for a nice overnight stop? Landerneau looks lovely. We are 1st time drivers inFrance so any ideas for an easy motel on a main road appreciated! Thanks

Hi Year0, we are going to near Perros-Guirec this summer, so I had my Routard North Brittany almost to hand.
In Landerneau it recommends L'Hotel Restaurant L'Amandier 53, rue de Brest, phone no 02 98 83 10 89. It sounds very charming, you have the advantage of being able to eat there as well, half-board for £30 per (adult) person. It does not specifically say family rooms/children's menu, so I would ring and check. We have never been let down by a Routard-listed hotel.
There is not that much listed in Landerneau or the next town, Daoulas.
If you really feel the wayside hotel option is preferable, try looking up Campanile or Ibis hotels using Google. These well-priced chains are all on main roads and are pretty much like Travel Lodges in the UK. I know they have websites and you can reserve online.

Thank you for this handy info. We are so new to it that we didn't know about Routard handbooks! Enjoy your trip.
