Farm holidays - for 3/4 yr old, North/MIddle England, any ideas?

Hi everyone
I'd like to stay on a farm with a babe and 31/2 yr old. Any recommendations for good ones where they can collect eggs/feed lambs etc. Preferably in the north or middle england rather than far south. I have the Stay on a Farm brochure but it's hard to tell which ones are really kiddie friendly and let them get involved. Any ideas welcome. Cheers.

Roves Farm, just outside Swindon M4- or is that too far south?

it doesn't mention accomodation on the farm, but we stayed in the converted barn, 3 x double bedrooms, very comfortable, i'd give them a ring

We stayed here and it was lovely. Very clean and the owners live on site and are very helpful. Loads to do around. Someone on the next farm bakes the most scrummy bread and cakes which can be delivered every day.

To mummysurfer, sammac and helenmc
Thanks very much for the leads - much appreciated. We may yet be off to be farmers for a while!

Sammac - what sort of things could the kids do on the farm?

This looks great and I might book it for next year. Are the Whitehall Cottages near the Working farm and is it suitable for a baby and nearly 3 yr old? What is the nearest town or city?
