Having not been organised fun people pre dc have just had a fab week at HV Rhodes- so which other ones might we like? I'm aware that Rhodes is their flagship?
We liked the contemporary decor and general quality and cleanliness of village and rooms
The variety iPod swim areas
The non cluttered feel
Buses easily available to explore local area
Ents were good for the broad coverage (I'm also assuming I5live is in all of them? )

Looking at next year either May non school hols or October half term, so leaning towards canaries

Also - any other AI places compare eg Cape Verde rio etc?
Thanks!

We been to 4 HV's and think RHodes may spoil the rest for you as it is their most luxurious HV.

We are heading back to HV Egypt in May half term (our 3rd visit) and have booked a swim up rom (would definitely reccommend this and they are not too expensive in egypt). I think quality wise that Egypt would be the next best. We have also been to Kos and Tunisa and would go back to either of those again. They only one we didn't much like was Turkey.

got ill after Turkey, have been to the Tunisia one twice and think that is my favourite. (also done Egypt, Algarve, Tenerife)

Looking to book one of these for Easter break with 3 little ones, where would be warm then? Don't fancy sharm or turkey as too far.

Done labazarote ones twice ?

We went to the Paphos one last October half term and as our first AI holiday village trip we were happy with it for a week. Place was nice and clean and pools lovely. My only complaint was that the food was sometimes not as hot as it could have been. Other than that, it was good.

We went to Boa Vista in Cape Verde in March. It was our first AI experience and we loved it. We didn't take the kids, there were very few kids there because it was outside school holidays.

It was very clean, the food was surprisingly good and very varied. We never went hungry, DH came back quite a bit heavier and neither of us were ill. We will definitely be going back.

If you do go, I would check out October because IIRC it might be the rainy season around September/October time.

We've done Menorca and Majorca and enjoyed both. Menorca is smaller and great for younger kids - not so much for the older ones.
Majorca had several different pools which was good.
Yep i5live is at all of them - and the evening entertainment is often repeated year on year - you have been warned.
we found the food better at Menorca with more variety in the main restaurant.
