Lanzarote in Feb

Whats the weather like? Pool/sea temp ok for children (paddling not swimming!) Looking at Costa teguise. Been in April was lovely and warm with sea breeze. Hoping it's similar! X

I've been in Feb without children. It can be warm but not hot and the sea and pools are cold. Mind you I don't think they are warm enough in summer in the canaries.
I'm just looking for somewhere in Lanzarote for Easter with a properly heated pool.

weather can go either way - previous week was iffy, but ours was ok except first day when it rained. you can see weather stats online. nice during day, but cold at night. you would need a heated pool and i seem to remember people swimming in the sea

We went one February half term and the weather was disappointingly cool - about 18 degrees. Costa Teguise is very windy as well. The nights are chilly and we needed to use the heater in the evenings.

I must admit that I didn't care for Costa Teguise as it is completely devoid of any character. Our apartment was great but the resort was rather dull. The restaurants were OK, but the food wasn't any better than anything I would have cooked at home, and the place is full of English bars selling English beer and showing English football.

We stayed in Puerto del Carmen the first time we went and liked it much better - although this was more than 20 years ago and I expect it has changed a lot since then.

I really like Lanzarote and the island itself is worth exploring, I just didn't particularly enjoy Costa Teguise.
