There is an acquarium in St Davids itself - small but not bad - the kids get to touch various creatures. There's also a farm which does sheepdog training demonstrations - can't remember the name of it but its close to there - down past Whitesands Bay somewhere from memory. There's a pottery near there where kids can make (or is it just paint?) their own stuff. And there are boat trips of course. The tourist office in St D's is very good - you should give them a call. Take a few kites as you get excellent flying conditions down there. There are also great crab fishing spots which is great for all ages.

When we stayed in the area a few years ago, we hired a dinghy from the sailing school at Dale for a couple of hours. Dh's kids enjoyed it so much we took them back to learn to sail at the school the following summer. You could also take them on a seal/birdwatching boat trip around Skomer island (the boat is piloted).

Another vote for Folly Farm from me and my 2 boys. If the weather's fine you can go on a variety of boat trips from Tenby, including one that goes round Caldy Island to see the seals.
