If you flew with Jet2 this summer.....

What were they like? Did they weigh your hand luggage? If you took a car seat and/or pushchair did they weigh them? There's a 10kg max weight on the two items but it doesn't say per person or per party so I'm a bit worried.

I flew with them this year, they were great. My kids are 9,6 and 3 so there were no prams, car seats etc ( first time in 9 years ). They didn't weigh hand luggage, certainly not for us and dd1 had bought a new bag while we were away which I thought was too big but it was fine.

Most passengers on our flight did have prams etc and I didn't hear complaints about luggage allowance etc. The cabin crew were lovely, very helpful, I thought the plane was comfy enough and the flight (about 3 hours) passed really quickly - I was very impressed with them.

We flew with them this summer.

I'd booked 2 suitcases into the hold and we took 4 pieces of hand luggage (one each). On the outbound flight they offer to check 2 items of our hand luggage in for free so we took them up on it. They didn't weigh any of our hand baggage, i think they just checked it in because it was a really busy flight.

My DH flies with them almost monthly for work and his hand baggage is rarely weighed (which is lucky as it's always up the limit).

We flew with them last month and they didn't weigh hand luggage, but we didn't have small cases. Just a small rucksack and my handbag

I've flown with them a few times, most recently this week. Took hand luggage only, never had it weighed. Always found them fine, unfortunately had a very long delay on return flight this time and info/ organisation etc was poor- though no idea if any other airline is much better!

Not this summer but fly 3 or 4 times a year with them with the children.
We have never had to weigh a buggy, car seat or hand luggage. Once they said DH hand luggage ( laptop bag) was too bulky but we just squished everything down a bit.

We flew with them last month and they did weigh our hand luggage, maybe as it was a small case. I have always had positive experiences travelling with them.

We flew with them in May and they didn't weigh our hand luggage either. I don't take a big bag for hand luggage anyway so I didn't expect them to.

The planes don't have reclining seats or screens to watch anything, but they are bright and clean and have a little more legroom than most other charter airlines. The crew were lovely and helpful when DD started feeling unwell and couldn't do enough for us.

I would definitely fly with them again.

I can't answer questions about car seat and buggy because DD is 14.

I have 3 dcs so have taken many car seats and buggies with Jet2 over last few years!
Never had them weighed though -have taken stage 2 car seat and buggy for dc3 plus 2 booster seats one year. I think the 10kg for that is per child not per party. They just go in the outsized luggage part and come off the conveyor belt at other end. You can keep your buggy with you for the airport and have it at the stairs of the aircraft when you disembark if you prefer-they will ask you at check in.

They were brilliant. Didn't weigh the hand luggage but whether that was because they could see they wouldn't be 10kg I don't know.

One of our hold cases was over 22kg and they didn't bat an eyelid and just added all of our luggage allowance together.

Lovely smooth flight too.
