A Taxi from Victoria to Liverpool Street.....

.. does anyone know roughly how much it would cost? and how long it might take? Or of any websites that could help me perhaps? I'm trying to work out an easy public transport route to Stanstead (pregnant with luggage and toddler) avoiding the underground.

you CAN get the number 8 bus but with a toddler it may feel a bit long, and the luggage issue might complicate it... but.....

not sure about taxi cost, but i'm sure someone will come along soon and tell you

Cheers, but I'm guessing a taxi would be so much easier, I'm hoping my bargain air-fare will justify the expense...

I appreciate you want to avoid the underground but you could go...

From Victoria on the Victoria line to Tottenham Hale and pick up the Stansted Express there
Now at Victoria there are a some steps down to the ticket hall and then an escalator
But at T Hale there is a lift and then no steps to reach the Northbound platform

that sounds a good compromise...

I think it's about 4 miles from Vic to Liv so according to the above about 10-17 quid but that sounds cheap to me

Depends what time of day you are travelling, I reckon it'd cost you something in the region of £15 by black cab and could take anything from 20mins to an hour, again depending on time of day
