i just got mine and ds's

think mine was £58 and his £50 or thereabouts

wasn't aware there was a choice - thought they were all 10yr for adults, 5 yrs for kids

feckit · 22/09/2006 13:42

They are apparently going up to £90 each in October

anniediv · 22/09/2006 13:43

Try here passport fees and don't forget your EHIC card

Blu · 22/09/2006 13:46

current fees but it goes up a lot at the beginning of October. (5th, I think)

Tutter · 22/09/2006 13:48

i have an appalling memory, as you can see

i did pay extra for the check and send service though, so maybe that's where i got those figures from

If kids have ones that were issued as 5 year ones, you can get an extension / renewal free (but not if it has already been renewed once).

Do it now!!

MrLSG · 22/09/2006 14:41

Free extension/renewals only applies to 5year passports issued before March 1998 - so unlikely to apply to anyone renewing now. We've just renewed DS's passport 5-year passport and had to pay £45.

MrLSG · 22/09/2006 14:43

"had to pay £45"

Whoops sorry, was £34 - the new fee would be £45.
