Please help!

Last year we went to Majorca, but I chose an aprtment in a building site, the pool was shut (not my fault admittadly) and it ended up being a bit of a hard work holiday.

So for next May I want to redeem myself by selecting a villa with pool in Almeria. I have been there before and loved it. We tend to go independent and book off the internet direct with owners, as it works out cheaper and more flexible.

Does anyone know of a private villa with its own pool for rent? Thank you in advance.

Oh the budget is up to £600 per week in May, preferably cheaper!

I can highly recommend my friends 3 bedroomed villa in Denia, Costa Blanca. It is £625 per week in May. It doesn't have a website, but if you email VillaAbuela at aol dot com She will send a brochure.

We stayed there in July. It is beautifully decorated as my friend uses it as her holiday villa too, not just for rentals. The pool has roman steps and a shallow part (safe for children), a covered patio for dining outside, brick built BBQ, full kitchen and washing machine. The master bedroom has an ensuite and there is a sunbathing terrace on the roof as well as lawned gardens and a car porch.

Oh, and Sky TV, DVD player and flatscreen TV.

£625 a week in May??? How big is it, GB? (Sounds like a lot...this one is only c £300)

UrsulatheSeaWitch · 23/09/2006 20:31

(Pool is shared admittedly but for the sake of £300+...)

Similar, but has 3 bedrooms and private pool. Agree about the price, but that is the going rate in Denia and Javea.

It is here 3rd villa down Villa Abuela

Ohhh, it does look lovely, GB.

Am loling though at "Els Poblet" (obv a CBBC character) and "Els Poblet has its own stretch of beach which is approx. 600 Mts (as the crow flies from the villa)" - I'm wondering why the crow flies to the beach and where it sleeps in the villa...

How are you, chuck? You are up late for a newly expectant mummy

You still up Ursula? Sorry TillyRose, but we seem to have hijacked your thread.
lol at the Crow - in the Crow's Nest obviously.
I had a 2 hour nap this afternoon hence in wideawake club.
Am feeling fine, apart from tiredness, no sickness yet, but have heartburn already (had shares in Gaviscon last time out.)
