3 day European Break with a 7yo

Hi

I am hoping to have a short 3day holiday over the October half term to a European city with DH & 7 year old DS. Can anyone recommend somewhere that it cheap and interesting enough for a 7 year old boy?

I immediately thought of Prague or Berlin but I welcome other ideas or destinations. I am interested in architecture and museums.... but my DS will NOT tolerate 3 days of this so any advice of fun kids activities will be greatly appreciated.

We took DS (6) to Athens last Feb half-term for a 3 day city break. He had a great time climbing the Acropolis and poking around antiquities. Food was great too :)

We've also enjoyed Amsterdam and Prague when he was a bit younger (3 & 4)

We're considering Rome or Munich next year.
