Self catering accommodation abroad with kids club

Looking for advice and recommendations on places to stay, anywhere hot (Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Spain) that has self catering accommodation within a hotel complex with use of a kids club/pool etc. We have never been abroad as a family before and want space to relax (not be stuck in a hotel room) and would love our boys, aged 8 and 6 to have fun at a kids club. Is this asking too much?
Would really welcome advice from others - many thanks.

Hi I remember looking for this myself before. James villas do olive resorts where you have a villa but access to kids club etc. I think pine cliffs in Portugal do too. Could also look at eurocamp etc getting a more spacious mobile home not a tent.

We've stayed here in Tenerife a couple of times, which might suit. The apartments are very clean and spacious and there is a restaurant on site as well as a couple of pools and minigolf. It isn't a massive complex. We haven't used the kids club as we've tended to go out during the day but dd loved the evening entertainment. I don't know if there are similar places elsewhere.

Not sure if it's hotel-ey enough, but we're off to Cambrils next week, can't wait! www.Cambrilspark.es

Prehaps its not luxurious enough for you, but you could look at Eurocamp and stay in a caravan. The Eurocamp caravans are very comfortable. We come back from Camp Ca'Savio Venice, which had an excellent activites and kids clubs for kids. The company Wintours do amination activites at several other Italian camps. My daughter loved Happy Disco, Splash Dance, (dancing in the pool) and the shows

The only problem with Italy is that the cost of living is blisteringly expensive.
