Smart hotel with interconnecting rooms? Don't mind where.

We usually go for a 2 bedroom apartment but fancy a nice hotel for summer 2015. Prefer not all inclusive, any suggestions very welcome!

I've been told that the Shangi-la hotel chain have interconnecting family rooms in many of their hotels.

Sheraton have them, in fact most hotels do have them but it bumps up the price massively
