Hi,
This will seem silly but...
I have a dsd who is nearly 6. Dp, dsd and I are going to a family party at the weekend and we now need to stay in a hotel for the night. We have had many family holidays but I have just realised we have never stayed in a hotel together (usually hire a cottage or something) and I have no idea what kind of family room is suitable!
Having looked there seems to be 3 different types. A double bed and a fold out sofa seems to be the most common, will dsd be ok on a fold out sofa? We can have adjoining rooms but I worry she's too little and will freak out. Or We could get a room with a double bed and a single bed which would be more comfy for her but she will be literally inches away, which leads to my next question...
What do you do when the child is a sleep?! I mean the TV will keep her awake, we can't really chat as that would disturb her. None of this has ever accrued to me before!
I know they are silly little things and whatever we book will be fine, I just curious as to what other people do?
Dsd has never stayed in hotel before and is beyond excited!
Many thanks for your help in advance
