Looking for a fairly small resort with a nice beach and restaurants likely to attract other British families so my only dd can make friends. Any ideas?

Costa Adeje, family friendly, plenty to do, friendly and feels safe.

Best place for lovely beach cafes etc is El Medano but more popular with locals and germans

Any recommendations as to places to stay? We normally do villa holidays for the space but think dd needs a kids club / friends!

Hi , we’re looking for a last minute week away from next Saturday 14.10 we have one 17 year old . We have been to Tenerife before and stayed in Las Americas but would like a change . I’ve been looking at Adeje would anyone recommend this area any hotel recommendations as well please ?

You need Playa Fanabe, Playa Duque or La Caleta areas, really family friendly but without some of the raucousness that is associated with the Las Americas end. GF Victoria (stylish large rooms) and GF Isobel (basic rooms but lovely complex) both lovely hotels in good areas though first quite a bit more pricey depending on what you are after.

Yes it’s not a cheap holiday by any stretch. It’s gone up by almost £2k for a week (b&b) in half term since we first went 4/5 years ago !
