My 15 year old daughter is meant to be going on a school trip to morocco at half term? Just wondered what others thought - is it safe re the political situation and e-bolar virus? I would so much prefer they were going to iceland or slapton sands (as we did in the good old days!).

nowhere is safe, crossing the street outside your house carries risks.

big place, Africa. No reports of ebola in Morocco.

presumably the school have done some research, you will arrange travel insurance and reasonable dress code will be observed.

Morocco is fab and she'll have a great time. It's miles away from the ebola outbreak areas.

I've been there 4 times (once with children) and never had a bad holiday. The people are so friendly Smile
