Northern France with rail links to Paris

We'd like to go over to France for 4 nights in Oct half term. Probably just using the Dover to Calais ferry and staying somewhere within a couple of hours driving distance. If possible we'd like to get the train to Paris for the day. Does anyone have any suggestions of where's good to stay with kids in Northern France but near a station with good train links to Paris?

We stayed here in April. It's a nice place, cheap but fairly basic. It has a station on site 45 minutes to Paris.
