Promised my dd and her best friend a day out, but Im broke! Can get cheapy train up to London and really cant afford tube fares so its walking! They would love Covent Garden, where else might they like? Both love Art and both into "gothy" stuff. I love vintage so markets? Any ideas welcome :)

ah but not free, sorry

The v&a is free.
Try Camden market or portabello if a Friday or Saturday.
The south bank is great and they can watch all the skater boys and walk along the embankment

Picnic in Hyde park?

snice · 23/08/2014 23:12

Do you mean this weekend? If so then Notting Hill Carnival

4boysxhappy · 23/08/2014 23:12

I would do Camden Market and the Tate Modern

Camden is full of stuff you will probably hate & they will love. Great for street food too.

Would also recommend Camden market and a walk round leister square.

I'd take them to brick lane or Camden.
