What's your budget?
What do you like doing on holiday?

about 1000 each for flights and accommodation . preferably all inclusive . enjoy being by the pool and on the beach . exploring too . somewhere that we wouldn't take our dc !

I think you're right about the rain in Thailand. We've been in the Green rainy season & apart from the odd wet half day it's been fine. But for your honeymoon I expect you'd like blue skies.
What about Mauritius? There are some really lovely AIs & plenty to do.
It is a long flight, 12 hours though.

A lot of long haul destinations places are rainy season in September. I had my honeymoon in September too Smile
We went to Mauritius and it was lovely, the island and the weather. As I remember, the Seychelles and the east coast of Malaysia were also not rainy season at that time of year.
I'm not sure you'll be able to find an AI for 10 days for £1000 pp in any of those places though.
Greece and Southern Italy are also nice weather in September. Sicily, Puglia or Sardinia in Italy or Santorini in Greece would all make a lovely honeymoon.

a week would be long enough as long as the flight wasn't so long so ruling out a 12 hour flight really then . Will spend an afternoon googling i think . Thank you

Hot or active? We went to South Africa then Mauritius at end of Sept/beginning of Oct. South Africa was sunny, 20s by the coast, 30ish inland. Loads to do-safari, wine regions, Cape Town, we loved it but DH is not one for lying in the sun. Mauritius is great for more a lazy beach holiday but a long way if you're just going for a week there
