We would really like to go on a holiday in the Austrian alps as we think the scenery looks stunning.
DH is one of those terrible grumpy types who doesn't really like people, and certainly hates any kind of organised activity/ generally having to do something that other people are doing at the same time.
DS is 2&3/4 and needs a lot of entertaining. He is obviously generally a lot happier if he has lots of things to keep him busy.
It is also a very very rare thing for DH and I to actually spend some time alone together (as I'm sure is the same for everyone!) and we have only achieved this previously on holiday by going with other family members but I really want to do something just us this time.
Is there any chance this could work?! Would there be many opportunities to do things more independently whilst still taking advantage of the perks?
Any experiences from anyone who's been would be much appreciated.
TIA
