Is this possible with a budget of up to £500 that has to include travel and accommodation for family of 5? DCs aged 14, 12 and 6. Suggestions and advice please! Thanks

I'm looking for a similar thing. I was looking at Copenhagen or Prague but worried everything will be shut over Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

I'm ummming and aaahhhing over Centre Parcs too.

Have you looked at anywhere in particular?

I was thinking of Prague too or Marrakesh.

German markets are lovely at christmas. We've done the winter wonderland at centre parcs for the last 2years as well, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but we love it, perfect for putting you in a christmas mood

Do you think you could get to and stay in any of the suggested places for 100 per person?

We have done lots of Twixmas breaks at nice hotels in the UK - they often have special deals on then! Or are you thinking over Christmas itself?

I think Prague is doable on that budget midweek 2 nights. Not sure it would be enough time though. Hmm, not really sure what to do. Been given £500 by work to spend on anything. Maybe a show and hotel in London? But DC not keen on musicals Hmm

Gdansk is really cheap

Most shops and restaurants in Prague will be open Xmas day, but closed from lunch on Xmas eve as that's the day they celebrate
