Anyone been recently? Would you break the journey - maybe in LA or San Francisco.

Any recommendations on places to stay?

I think if you are going from the UK you will be changing planes anyway. Hawaii is not just off-shore from the US (as I thought before I went there!) so yes, break the journey.

which island interests you? Or do you have time for more than one?
